History: The only source that mentioned this game was Mr. Spitson, a London Times journalist, who talked about it in 1932. In an article dealing with the places where the writer Lewis Carroll lived, Spitson told how Carroll had invented this game for Alice Liddel, confined to bed because of a sudden fever at the time Carroll wrote "Alice in wonderland". He sent the game to Alice by mail, together with a letter containing instructions for the game.
How to play: this game is for two players. Every player has a dice. Before starting, the player rolls the dice and puts it on the board, with the face showing the result. Both dice shall be placed in boxes facing each other along a diagonal line. The player with the higher score may make the first move. Each player moves in turn, flipping the die on one side as many times as the point number shown on the die's face up. The winner is the player who manages to step over the opponent's dice so that the face on its die is the same of the opponent's dice (that stands below his/her die).
