Environmentally friendly consumption
An "Ecostore" (now also operating on-line) has recently been set up in Palm W&P's Viadana registered office; the ecostore promotes eco-friendly products (for house, office, school and leisure) with low environmental impact, to foster the cause of environmentally friendly consumption.
All of these products have been manufactured by Palm Work & Project and other social cooperative companies found on the Italian territory, for the purpose of starting a cooperation and promotion network.
But in addition to that you will find also products that the major companies designed and built out of such materials as plastics, glass and milk cartons to promote and develop environmentally friendly consumption.
Palm proposes and encourages use of FSC brand wooden products, since more FSC certified products mean more responsibly managed forests, more forests saved from indiscriminate exploitation, more forests kept away from the international illegally cut timber trade circuits.
So we thought to create a space dedicated to promotion and trade of low environmental impact and eco-sustainable products.
In this area it is also possible to enjoy educational films and videos for boys, school pupils, forums and meetings aimed to encourage environmentally friendly consumption.
The main goal is to promote and discuss issues related to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.
